New quick image uploader
I noticed some people were having issues posting pictures so i've installed a new feature. When you go to make a new post just above the post "box" in the centre you should see an "Image Upload" link. When clicked a popup should appear and this popup allows you to upload pictures from your photobucket account directly.
Any feedback is appreciated, if you don't have a photobucket account already or aren't logged in you'll be asked to do this (it's free). It allows quick posting of pictures without having to leave the forum and come back.
If you have any questions feel free to ask and I hope it helps some of you!

Re: New quick image uploader
Just a note - if you have a popup blocker there is a small chance it will prevent this picture uploader working, so you may need to add our site to your allowed list.
Re: New quick image uploader
Can I just add that you dont need to have photobucket account? i load my pictures straight from 'my documents' where i have some stored that i have exported from my picture management application.
Re: New quick image uploader
Nicky, the pics do need to be online some way for others to see them. If for example you put
That wouldn't work - maybe i've misunderstood?
- Code:

Re: New quick image uploader
The way I have achieved it is
My photos are saved in my documents in folders - I click on the icon with the picture and disc, this asks me to browse - i select my picture from the folder and upload, i then create the space for it by clicking on the picture icon and paste the photo in between the two [img] brackets...........................!
So yes there is access, but it only takes seconds to upload the photos - I used to find photobucket very slow and laborious at times, Im no techo wizz and find all these things out purely by mistake! the trick is to remember what I did last time in order to do it again!LOL

Re: New quick image uploader
Fixed. It's just because you were using HTML and not BBcode which is used on forums.
- Code:
[img]www.thelinktoyourpic.com/pic.jpg[/img]
Re: New quick image uploader
all gobbledy gook to me, how do i avoid that in future?

Re: New quick image uploader
Like the code above, if you do that:
link to pic being the direct link to your picture on photobucket, it will be fine.
- Code:
[img]linktopic.jpg[/img]
link to pic being the direct link to your picture on photobucket, it will be fine.
